Why I built ENT Calculator

Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) are a cornerstone of modern clinical practice, offering invaluable insights into how patients perceive the severity of their condition and efficacy of their treatments. As a surgeon, PROMs play a vital role in helping me to assess my outcomes and forms an integral part of my audits.

However, while many valuable PROMs exist, they can be challenging to remember and access during busy clinical encounters. The process of distributing, collecting, and calculating PROMs often becomes time-consuming, detracting from meaningful doctor-patient interactions.

I created ENTCalculator.com to address these challenges. 

This platform is designed to be a freely accessible tool that simplifies the use of PROMs. By providing real-time calculations and interpretations for commonly used ENT PROMs, the website allows clinicians to focus on what matters most—providing excellent patient care.

ENTCalculator.com is a step toward integrating PROMs seamlessly into clinical workflows, ensuring they are as effective and efficient as possible for both patients and healthcare professionals.
